Days of Caring 2008

Days of Caring: Overview and Instructions

OVERVIEW:

Days of Caring ,is a United Way event, designed to expose area companies and its employees to the work that area nonprofit agencies, many of them United Way Program Delivery Partners, do in the Battle Creek area through employee volunteering.

This year’s Days of Caring event will kick-off on Thursday, September 4th from 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and will be followed by United Way’s Campaign launch and complimentary luncheon at Mill Race Park. If you are a company and would be interested in participating in this day of service contact the Volunteer Center at 269-966-4189. We will need you to fill out a response form. If you have already completed the response form, please review the instructions

INSTRUCTIONS:

All companies should have their Days of Caring response forms faxed back by July 14th, 2008. When you submit a response form, we then recommend creating a company volunteer profile, not an agency profile. Creating a company volunteer profile now, will save you time later when you go to signup for a project.

The password you will create is case sensitive and is shared. I would recommend only sharing the password with team leaders responsible for signing up Days of Caring employees. Only the team leader needs to create a volunteer profile, using your established username and password will allow you to signup for community projects like Days of Caring for upcoming years.
